Submitted for consideration and vote, the proposal for Amendment 2 to UN GTR No. 9 on pedestrian safety (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2018/160, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2018/161 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/AC.3/31) was adopted on 14 November 2018 by consensus vote of the following contracting parties present and voting: Australia, China, the European Union (representing Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom), India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Norway, the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation, San Marino, South Africa and Uzbekistan. 177. The representatives from Canada, Tunisia and the United States of America abstained from voting. |
