The Netherlands explained the document IWVTA-06-01 which proposed to update or streamline the candidate list of applicable regulation items for IWVTA (IWVTA-05-03). Netherlands proposal were reflected in the revised candidate list of applicable regulation items for IWVTA (IWVTA-06-04). The Technical Secretary pointed out the necessity to consider the approach to deal with new ECE Regulations as Netherlands indicated. EC suggested that any participating CPs could propose to add the new ECE Regulations to IWVTA applicable Regulation list, if deemed necessary. OICA stated that it was premature to discuss the approach to deal with new ECE Regulations because there seemed to be a long way to go before IWVTA applicable items would be finalized. EC stated that although IWVTA applicable Regulations might be minimal at the outset, it would be necessary to discuss the approach to deal with new ECE Regulations sometime anyway. |
