Proposal of provisions to verify the reliability of temperature-activated pressure relief devices.

Text corrects errors/mistakes in the current regulation and update text to be in line with the requirements coming from ISO15500 and NGV3.1 (industry standards for CNG)

Proposal defines the working pressure for an LNG tank to be the primary relief valve setting (paragraph 4.4.), without stating a minimum value of the said relief valve. If a vehicle has an on-board tank with a primary relief valve that opens at a lower pressure than that at which the filling station is set to stop, the primary relief valve will open during refueling and this is an obvious safety risk.

Proposes the addition of design qualification tests also will harmonize with ISO 15500-13:2012, and the North American CSA/ANSI PRD 1 (2020).

Proposal to enable GRSG approval of documents GRSG/2022/23, GRSG/2022/24 and 2022/25 as a new series of amendments to facilitate traceability.

Proposal to introduce a minimum opening set pressure of the primary Liquid Natural Gas relief valve, add design qualification tests aligned with ISO 15500-13:2012 and the North American CSA/ANSI PRD 1 (2020), and align provisions with the requirements of ISO15500 and NGV3.1.
