The Unfallforschung der Versicherer (UDV: Accident Research for Insurance Providers) is part of the German Insurance Association (GDV). UDV conducts research on roads, vehicles, road users, and other aspects of road safety in cooperation with policymakers, police and other authorities, and vehicle manufacturers to develop concepts for improving the safety of Germany’s roads and preventing accidents.
