Established in 1963,, the High Pressure Gas Safety Institute of Japan (Kouatsu-gasu Hoan Kyoukai, or KHK) works to ensure the safety of high-pressure gas facilities, equipment, and use under authority granted by the High Pressure Gas Safety Act.
