7. The secretariat introduced GRPE-94-05 and reported about relevant items discussed during the 197th and 198th sessions of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29). He referred to ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1188 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1190 for further details.

8. The representative of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) noted that the compromise found on small vehicle manufacturers definition was an interim solution, and called for a globally-agreed definition to be developed.

9. The representative of the European Commission (EC), co Chair of the GRPE Task Force Automated Vehicles Regulation Screening (TF-AVRS), informed other GRs were also expected to submit large amount of documents related to Automated Vehicles Regulation Screening (AVRS).
