The secretariat informed GRSG about the activities of common interest between the Global Forum for Road Safety (WP.1) and WP.29 vis-à-vis the report of the March 2026 session of WP.29, since the report of the March 2026 session of WP.1 was not yet available (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1190 paras. 12, 90 to 92). It was also noted that ITC, at its eighty-eighth session in February 2026, had endorsed the WP.29 decision to hold an official session of WP.29 at the ECLAC premises in Santiago de Chile in November 2026, together with an informal meeting of WP.1 and joint side events to promote the WP.29 and WP.1 activities to the Latin American countries. Finally, it was noted that the schedule for the WP.1 September 2026 session was not yet fixed.
