The expert from OICA, on behalf of the Chair of the IWG on Safer Transport of Children in Buses and Coaches (STCBC), informed GRSG of the progress made during Phase 2 of the IWG’s work and reported that a small Task Force (TF) had been established to address the remaining issues. He announced that two further TF meetings would be held before October 2026, and that a proposal for amendments would be submitted to GRSG at its October session. In addition, two further documents would be transmitted to the Working Party on Passive Safety (GRSP) for consideration at its December 2026 session.
