Proposal to introduce new paragraphs addressing vehicles of category X and vehicles with manual mode operating above 6 km/h equipped with Automated Driving System Feature of Type 2 (ADSF-2). The proposal modifies definitions including “mass in running order,” “passenger,” “member of the crew,” and “automatically-operated service-door.” It inserts new definitions for ADSF-1 and ADSF-2, adds requirements for vehicles equipped with ADSF-2, and amends multiple provisions in Annex 1, Annex 3, Annex 4, Annex 8, Annex 11, and Annex 12 regarding driver’s compartment specifications, door operations, emergency systems, and accessibility features. |
