The expert from OICA identified a number of provisions where the Vienna Convention (1968) would need to be aligned with the recent changes in UN Regulations on lighting and light-signalling (GRE-93-11-Rev.1). GRE requested the secretariat to find a suitable way of conveying these provisions to the attention of the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety (WP.1). GRE also invited the Chair to ask AC.2 and/or WP.29 for guidance on this topic.
