2. | Report on the last session of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) and of the Inland Transport Committee (ITC) |
The Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) may agree to consider a brief oral report by the secretariat about the highlights of the November 2024 and March 2025 sessions of WP.29 and of the February 2025 session of the Inland Transport Committee on issues related to GRPE. |

3. | Light vehicles | |||
3. (a) | UN Regulations Nos. 68, 83, 101, 103 and 154 |
GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the experts of OICA proposing a new supplement to the 05, 06, 07 and 08 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 83, aiming at updating the requirements for dynamometer preparation ahead of a Type 6 test by aligning UN Regulation No. 83 with the relevant text of Annex 13 of UN Global Technical Regulation No. 15. GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the experts of OICA proposing a new supplement to the 06 and 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 83, to allow type approval of vehicles that previously where only within the scope as an extension based on their reference mass. The proposal also including additional clarification on exhaust drainage systems and proposes to update a reference to an EN standard. GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the experts of OICA proposing a new supplement to the 08 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 83, introducing the engine capacity within the information document and some minor editorial corrections. GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the experts of OICA proposing a new supplement to the original, 01, 02 and 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154, proposing updated provisions to have better consistency between the manufacturer information document and the type-approval certificate. Following initial review during the previous sessions of GRPE, GRPE may wish to consider proposals from the experts of OICA proposing new supplements to the original, 01, 02 and 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154, as a consolidated version. The proposals incorporate corrections, clarifications and improvements to all series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154 that have already been introduced in previous sessions of GRPE, as informal or working documents.
