Proposal from the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) to include requirements for automatic door locking systems. This proposal would allow for “mixed configurations” of locked and unlocked doors in the test procedures.

Proposal to clarify that coupling systems of the battery-charging system (i.e., rechargeable energy storage system, REESS) which are not energized during driving need not meet the requirements established for systems designed to be energized during driving (and thus significant in case of accident).
