57. The International Whole Vehicle Type Approval (IWVTA) Ambassador for GRSP, reported on the IWVTA-IWG activities since the 75th GRSP session.

58. The amendments to the Guidelines for Transitional Provisions that were discussed in the previous GRSP session were submitted as a formal document to the June 2024 session of WP.29 and adopted without any specific amendments. In addition, the 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 0 was approved by WP.29 in its November 2024 session, although it did not contain items related to the work of GRSP.

59. IWVTA-IWG submitted an informal document to the November 2024 session of WP.29 to amend Schedule 5 of the 1958 Agreement. The amendment is to only allow replacing the approval marking with a Unique Identifier (UI) where explicitly allowed in specific UN Regulations. A working document will be submitted to the March 2025 session of WP.29.
