40. In compliance with Rule 37 of the Rules of Procedure (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/690/Rev.2), GRE re-elected by acclamation Mr. T. Kärkkäinen (Finland) as Chair and Mr. D. Rovers (Kingdom of the Netherlands) as Vice-Chair for the sessions of GRE scheduled in the year 2025. The expert from EC recalled that, according to the Rules of Procedure, GRE could have several Vice-Chairs and encouraged countries to nominate more candidates for this position next time.
