1. Adoption of the agenda

In accordance with Chapter III, Rule 7 of the Rules of Procedure (TRANS/WP.29/690/Rev.1) of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29), the first item on the provisional agenda is the adoption of the agenda.

2. Report on the last sessions of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29)

The Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) may agree to consider a brief oral report by the secretariat about the highlights of the March 2021 session of WP.29 on issues related to GRPE.

3. Light vehicles
3. (a) UN Regulations Nos. 68 , 83, 101, 103 and 154

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the expert of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) proposing new supplements to the 05, 06 and 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 83 aiming at permitting the use of the latest reference fuels for evaporative emissions approval of vehicles in order to reduce the approval testing burden.

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the expert of OICA proposing a new supplement to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 101 proposing to introduce the shortened test procedure for PEVs as well as an update of the CoP test procedure in order to align UN Regulation No. 101 with proceedings and procedures described in UN Regulation No. 154. It also proposes an option for manufacturers to determine road load values for Pure Electric Vehicles according to the requirements of UN Regulation No. 83.

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the expert of OICA proposing new supplements to the original version and 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154 aiming at consolidating the existing text of the Regulation with that of the reference document adopted by GRPE at the 82nd session.

GRPE may wish to consider proposals to amend UN GTRs Nos. 15 and 19, if any.

3. (c) Worldwide harmonized Real Driving Emissions test procedure

GRPE will receive a status report on the activities of the IWG on RDE.

4. Heavy duty vehicles
4. (a) UN Regulations Nos. 49 and 132

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal from the expert of OICA proposing new supplements to the 05 and 06 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 49 aiming at correcting and improving some provisions described in current text of the 05 and 06 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 49.

4. (b) UN Global Technical Regulations Nos. 4, 5 and 10

GRPE may wish to consider proposals to amend UN GTRs Nos. 4, 5 and 10, if any.

4. (c) Worldwide provisions for Heavy Duty vehicles Fuel Economy (HDFE)

GRPE may wish to receive a status report on the activities of harmonized provision for heavy duty vehicles fuel economy, if any.

5. UN Regulations Nos. 24, 85, 115, 133 and 143

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal prepared by the expert from OICA to amend UN Regulation No. 24 proposing to amend the scopes of the UN Regulation No. 24 to better clarify its applicability.

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal prepared by the expert from the Russian Federation to amend UN Regulation No. 133. The proposal proposes to align the provisions stipulated in paragraph 7 and in Annex 6 of the UN Regulation.

6. Agricultural and forestry tractors, non-road mobile machinery
6. (a) UN Regulations Nos. 96 and 120

GRPE may wish to consider proposals to amend UN Regulations Nos. 96 and 120, if any.

6. (b) UN Global Technical Regulation No. 11

GRPE may wish to consider proposals to amend UN GTR No. 11, if any.

7. Particle Measurement Programme (PMP)

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal by the IWG on PMP for a new Consolidated Resolution concerning Exhaust Ultra-Fine Particle Number Measurement For Heavy Duty Engines.

GRPE will receive a status report from the IWG on PMP.

8. Motorcycles and mopeds
8. (a) UN Regulations Nos. 40 and 47

GRPE may wish to consider proposals to amend UN Regulations Nos. 40 and 47, if any.

8. (b) UN Global Technical Regulations Nos. 2, 17, 18, and draft GTR on Durability

GRPE may wish to consider proposals to amend UN GTRs Nos. 2, 17 and 18, if any.

8. (c) Environmental and Propulsion Performance Requirements (EPPR) for L-category vehicles

GRPE will receive a status report from the IWG on EPPR.

9. Electric Vehicles and the Environment (EVE)
9. (a) UN GTR No. 21 and draft GTR on in-vehicle battery durability

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal by the IWG on EVE for a new UN GTR on in-vehicle battery durability.

9. (b) Other activities of IWG on EVE

GRPE will receive a status report from the IWG on EVE.

10. Mutual Resolution No. 2 (M.R.2)

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal prepared by the expert from OICA for a new amendment to Mutual Resolution No. 2 (M.R.2).

GRPE may wish to consider a report by its Ambassador or its Chair on IWVTA.

GRPE may wish to consider a proposal on the topic of lifetime compliance, if any.
