Proposal to - Improve the reproducibility of the test method (in alignment with ISO 23671)
- Include maximum load and pressure information per ASTM F2493-19
- Update the test report templates accordingly
- Remove the limitation for “moulded” markings
- Transition from SRTT14 to SRTT16
- Align track friction requirements for track characterization per the transition
- Clarify vehicle selection provisions
- Introduce transitional provisions

This proposal (WP.29/2021/8), as amended by para. 78 of the session report, was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-seven Contracting Parties out of the 53 applying UN R117 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-seven voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
