Informal Working Group on Visibility, Glare and Levelling (VGL)
Reports to GRE

The VGL informal group was established to amend UN Regulation No. 48 with regard to headlamp levelling requirements in order to address glare and visibility concerns. The plan has been to develop an interim solution while the VGL group pursues the development of new test procedures and performance requirements as a more permanent long-term solution. The group anticipates this eventual solution as a new series of amendments to UN R48.
