However, a number of these regulations contain transitional provisions such that new versions will enter into force during the 12 months following this cut-off date. Therefore, this document proposes a list of such regulations that would be included in the 01 series of amendments to UN R0 to be submitted for adoption by WP.29 in November 2017. In concept, UN R0 would be updated with these "upgraded" versions of the UN Regulations.

Proposal for Supplement 1 to the 01 series of amendments to Regulation No. 39
Working Party Working Speedometer Equipment Speedometer Equipment Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Vehicles with regard to the Speedometer Equipment Including its Installation Proposal to allow for the approval of speedometers and odometers that enable drivers to display figures either in km/h or mph (but not both simultaneously). The proposal also clarifies the application of the provisions across the category L vehicle subcategories.

Proposal for Corrigendum to the 01 series of amendments to Regulation No. 39
Working Party Informal Speedometer Equipment Speedometer Equipment Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Vehicles with regard to the Speedometer Equipment Including its Installation The 01 series of amendments inserted a new paragraph 5.1 and renumbered the subsequent paragraphs. This proposal corrects an oversight by updating a reference to paragraph 5.3 to 5.4 in the footnote under paragraph 2.5.
