Proposal for amendments to document
GRPE-66-37 by the Russian Federation.

This proposal would add requirements for the labeling of plastic and rubber components and for reporting on the use of lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium in the vehicle.

Based upon a proposal from OICA (WP.29/2012/116), this text was adopted by the Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) at its 65th session in order to transpose into international legislation Directive 2005/64/EC and Directive 2009/1/EC concerning the type-approval of motor vehicles with regard to their reusability, recyclability and recoverability.
