Correction to the original text of the 02 series of amendments to UN R100 (…Approval of a vehicle type with regard to the High Voltage System) to avoid inadvertent exclusion from safety requirements for vehicles with an electric drive train without a high voltage system.

OICA expressed reservations over informal document WP.29-158-06. OICA received the document shortly before the WP.29 session and has only been able to get initial reactions based on a superficial reading of the text, but the document did raise a need for further consideration. The document will be voted upon nonetheless, but OICA may submit a future proposal to address its eventual concerns.

Proposal unanimously adopted.
