The expert from CITA made a presentation (GRSP-78-17) on behalf of the IWG on electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle retrofit systems, that works under the umbrella of the Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE). He summarized the work already done and future plans and encouraged GRSP experts to attend their meetings in order to get a better input in matters related to safety. The expert from the Kingdom of the Netherlands explained that although for EV conversions, UN Regulation No. 100 would be useful, for HFCV ones, UN Regulation No. 134 would not be sufficient.
