GRE | Session 89 | 24-27 Oct 2023 |
35. GRE considered a draft new 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10 prepared by IWG EMC (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2023/27 and GRE-89-17). In the course of an in-depth discussion, GRE realized that consensus was not reached on the transitional provisions and the Accident Emergency Call System (AECS) covered by UN Regulation No. 144. For the AECS system, the expert from Japan presented a separate proposal (GRE-89-26). 36. GRE requested IWG EMC to continue their deliberations on the 07 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10 with a view to preparing a revised proposal for the next session. It was also agreed that IWG EMC would continue working on the future 08 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 10. All GRE experts were invited to participate in the IWG EMC activities. |
