23. The expert from OICA proposed to allow logos smaller than 5 cm2 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2023/10). A number of experts from contracting parties delivered critical remarks and were not in a position to support the proposal.

27. The expert from OICA proposed draft amendments on the use of manufacturer’s logo (GRE-87-16). GRE held the view that its wording could lead to wrong interpretations and invited the author to improve the proposal in cooperation with other experts.

11. The expert of IWG SLR mentioned clarifications and corrections to the draft 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 148 (GRE-86-03). GRE noted that they had already been included in ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2022/92 that will be considered by WP.29 in June 2022.

32. The experts from France and Germany presented a revised proposal that allowed the use of manufacturer logos inside the illuminant surface of signalling lamps (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2020/5/Rev.2, GRE-85-16 and GRE-85-26).

33. Subject to reservations of the expert from the Netherlands and EC, GRE adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2020/5/Rev.2, as amended by GRE-85-26, and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and vote at the June 2022 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as part of draft Supplement 16 to the 06 series of amendments, of draft Supplement 3 to the 07 series of amendments, of draft Supplement 1 to the 08 series of amendments and of the draft 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 148.
