25. GRSP resumed discussion on a proposal (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2020/7) that had been tabled by the experts from Japan and the European Commission on behalf of the Task Force to amend the requirements on post-crash electrical safety in the event of full frontal impact (see paragraphs 16, 18 and 19). The expert from Japan introduced GRSP-67-18-Rev.1 on amendment to the definition of REESS. GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2020/7, as amended by Annex IX to the session report. The secretariat was requested to submit the proposal as the draft 02 series of amendment to UN Regulation No. 137, for consideration and vote at the November 2020 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1. 25.
