18. The expert from the Netherlands introduced GRVA-04-28 with a status report on the activities of the group. The group completed its deliberations on the first required deliverable expected from the group. It drafted GRVA-04-17 comparing both systems EDR and DSSAD. 19. GRVA discussed the purpose of both systems. Following discussions, GRVA agreed that the purpose of DSSAD would address the status of the vehicle and interactions with the driver, research, in use monitoring, legal responsibilities and liability issues. 20. GRVA also discussed the relevant vehicle categories for DSSAD. GRVA decided that the group should focus first on light vehicles. |
