Pixel fault test procedures to determine worst case probabilities
Pixel fault test procedures to determine worst case probabilities
Explanation of pixel fault testing. Pixel faults arise erratically across production and cannot be directly quantified by testing product samples. Moreover, pixel faults are a problem only when they affect visual perceptions of the driver. Therefore, the testing needs to determine the probability for a “disturbing” disruption of the image that could significantly interfere with a driver’s perception of the image.
