GRE will be informed about the progress of TF AVSR on the optical signals of automated driving system (ADS) vehicles. GRE will recall that, at its previous session, following the demonstration of a test vehicle equipped with integrated automated ADS marker lamps, the expert from TF AVSR pointed out that they would submit to the present GRE session an informal document addressing the colour and intensity of the ADS marker lamps, electrical connections and a switch that would deactivate the lamps in those countries which may decide not to allow ADS lamps on national roads.
