Proposal to - align the regulation with legislation of the European Union, United States of America, and Japan,
- clarify the test procedure, including ambient temperature provisions,
- reduce unnecessary time and cost demands of the COP test procedures,
- apply the minimum burst pressure BPmin as the pressure limit in the hydrostatic pressure rupture test for COP batch testing, and
- delete the phrase “and in no case less than the value necessary to meet the stress ratio requirements” erroneously introduced into paragraph 9.3.2.1.

This proposal (WP.29/2017/127) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-eight Contracting Parties out of the 53 applying UN R134 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-eight voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
