The US safety agency raises questions concerning the specific nature of the observed failures and the scope of the test procedures to ensure that glazing with ceramic printed areas resist such failures. NHTSA notes anomalies in the data that might suggest failure modes specific to particular manufacturers and/or production batches while questioning the focus on panoramic sunroofs rather than all glazing where ceramic printing might be a potential cause of failure. |
