The following questions were raised about the 2nd vehicle:
A video was shown demonstrating that a good design from the beginning could dramatically improve the combination behaviour: one rigid truck with three centre axle trailers, and adapted coupling design with attachment close to the towing vehicle axle, low profile tyres, extended wheel distance in double axles, etc. (no EVSC intervention). Some results of simulation were shown by the University of Oulu, showing the amplification in the lateral acceleration for the last trailer. |
