3.2. Swedish proposal

Update from R.Thomson. (VTI, Sweden + Autoliv, Volvo NOK)

Swedish proposal in FWRB:
AM50 on the driver side, AF5 on the passenger side, both chest deflection criteria based on 65yo. => 42mm for the driver, 34mm for the passenger (using a seat adjustment as declared by the car manufacturer ie 25% forward).
Japan supports this proposal.

Discussion on the passenger seat adjustment: NL thinks that it should be a little more forward than the driver. A proposal from OICA is expected.
Could be: A seat position where the H-point is in front of the H-point of a 50th.

P. Castaing: if 34mm for the passenger, the main concern is not to be too soft for bigger passengers.
