OICA proposes: - Amend the heading of para. 2.11.5. to clarify that additional colours are introduced specifically for energy status indication,
- Add colour requirements in para. 5.15. permitting white, amber, red, selective-yellow, indicator blue, or indicator green for energy status indicators, with indicator blue and indicator green reserved for charging, discharging, or scheduling of energy transfer to or from the rechargeable electrical energy storage system,
- Replace multiple charging connector provisions in para. 6.29.9.1. to specify conditions for energy status indicator activation,
- Add para. 6.29.9.1.1. permitting independent activation of multiple energy status indicators,
- Insert para. 6.29.9.6. requiring vehicle manufacturers to declare intended use of indicator blue and indicator green in the information document,
- Add para. 6.29.9.2. establishing observation area intensity requirements and limiting intensity outside this area to 140 cd,
- Amend Annex 14 to include energy status indicators.
