Proposal to insert new paras. 0, 0.1 to 0.1.3, amend paras. 1, 5, 6, 6.17.2.1, 16, 17, 17.1.7.1, 17.8.8, 17.8.8.1, 17.10.2, 17.11.4, and 17.13.2.3, insert new para. 14.1.4, and amend Annex 14 para. 6 to address vehicles of categories X and Y and conventional vehicles equipped with an Automated Driving System, extend application to vehicles without driver compartment and manual driving controls, clarify occupant compartment provisions, update electrical connection protection standards, and modify fault indication requirements to include logic signals to ADS and limp home mode activation. |
