Proposal to insert new introductory paragraphs 0. and 0.1. to 0.1.3., amend paragraph 1.1. footnote 1, amend paragraph 2.5., and amend paragraph 4.4.1. footnote 3 to UN R61. The supplement extends application to vehicles of categories X and Y without driver, driver cab, or manual driving controls, and vehicles with manual mode operating above 6 km/h equipped with an Automated Driving System. Provisions related to driver, driver cab, or manual driving controls shall not apply if not covered by the amendment. For vehicles of category Y without a cab, the cab rear panel shall be replaced by a theoretical vertical transversal plane located 350 mm behind the rearmost point of the tyre of the foremost front axle. |
