Proposal to insert new paragraphs 0 and 0.1 to 0.1.2 providing introduction to Supplement 4 covering vehicles of category X and Y with Automated Driving System, amend paragraphs 0.1, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4 footnote 1 to define vehicle categories by reference to ECE/TRANS/WP.29/78/Rev.8, insert new paragraphs 2.17 and 2.18 defining ADS feature of type 1 and ADS feature of type 2, amend paragraph 4.4.1 footnote 4 to reference ECE/TRANS/WP.29/78/Rev.8 Annex 3, amend paragraph 5.1.2 to define device to prevent unauthorized use with reference to driver or ADS brake deactivation requests, amend paragraph 8.3.4.1 to specify immobilizer setting procedures, and amend Annex 11 paragraph 4.3.3 to exclude remote-control manoeuvring and parking, vehicles of categories X and Y, and activated ADSF-2 with authorized registered digital key from certain requirements. |
