The Task Force on Automated Vehicles Regulation Screening (TF AVRS) reported on their activities (GRBP-83-12) and presented updated amendment proposals to UN Regulations Nos. 64 and 142 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2026/2 as amended by GRBP-83-10, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2026/3 as amended by GRBP-83-11-Rev.1). The representative of ETRTO introduced GRBP-83-42, later merged into GRBP-83-11-Rev.1.

56. GRBP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2026/2 as amended by GRBP-83-10, as a draft new supplement to UN Regulation No. 64, and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2026/3 as amended by GRBP-83-11-Rev.1 , as a draft new supplement to UN Regulation No. 142. GRBP requested the secretariat to submit them to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration and vote at the June 2026 sessions, reminding the proposals on AVRS adopted during the last session of GRBP (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/80, para. 22).

57. The Chair asked if proposals on ADS were to be expected in the future now that all relevant UN Regulations has been amended to include ADS. The Chair of the TF AVRS confirmed amendments proposals should be expected in the future.
