GRSG agreed to resume discussion on a revised proposal by the expert from OICA, to amend the proposal of UN Regulation No. 176 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2024/155) that clarifies provisions after an incidence of battery-off (circuit disconnection) (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2025/7).

Proposal to clarify provisions referring to the “vehicle master switch”. After a battery-off (circuit disconnection) event, some vehicle settings may turn to a default setting that is not the last setting. The proposal introduces an exemption applicable to FVA systems in such “system reset” cases.
