Proposal to amend UN R100 Supplement 1 to the 05 series. The Regulation is amended to account for vehicles of category X and Y, and to extend application to vehicles without driver and without manual driving controls. For vehicles equipped with an Automated Driving System, provisions apply based on driving mode. New definitions for ADS feature of type 1 and type 2 are inserted. Modifications address isolation resistance monitoring, REESS warnings, and test procedures in Annexes 8 and 9E. Thermal propagation requirements do not apply to vehicles of category Y. |
