WP.29 noted the status report of the Chair of the IWG on Periodical Technical Inspection (PTI) on the outcome of the thirty-eight and thirty-nineth sessions, highlighting the current workplan of the group as well as the activities on tampering and on electronic Periodic Technical Inspection (e-PTI). WP.29 thanked Japan for hosting the last meeting and for providing technical visits that provided detained information on the Japanese inspection system.
