56. The Chair of the IWG on International Whole Vehicle Type Approval (IWVTA) presented the status report of their forty-seventh session. He recalled that the group had proposed to amend Schedule 5 of the 1958 Agreement (see agenda item 4.4). He proposed to amend the UN Regulations making reference to the Unique Identifier. He explained that the group started a review of amendments related to the 08 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 0 and clarified that the group was considering removing the relevant provisions related to the Declaration of Conformance (DoC) and Unique Identifier (UI) from UN Regulation No. 0, in addition to updating the table in Annex 4 as part of the annual update.
