Proposal from the VRU Proximity Awareness informal group to

1. clarify test procedures allowing non-random selection of parameter combinations and
2. provide for protrusion requirements for Blind Spot Information Systems (BSIS) external elements.

Proposal to add the condition " and any part of the vehicle which is more than 2.0 m above the ground" to the definition of the “vehicle front right corner” to ensure that the BSIS detection zone is not adversely affected by specific elements added at later stages of completion of the vehicle (e.g., a crane).

Proposal to clarify the regulation with regard to cone placement in the test procedure.
