GRB noted that its proposal to change the measuring units for vehicle masses from tonnes to kilograms had been agreed at the October 2017 session of the Working Party on General Safety Provisions (GRSG) (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2017/20) and would be submitted to the March 2018 session of WP.29 for adoption.
