Revised terms of reference for the informal group exploring VRU close-proximity vision and detection systems pursuant to the third informal group session.
Composite Pressure Vessel: Storage vessels for gases, such as hydrogen, where the outer shell structure is made of composite materials (as opposed to metal).
VRU
Vulnerable Road User: A person using the road who lacks the protection of an outer vehicle shell or equivalent restraint system, and who is therefore at disproportionate risk of serious injury or death in a collision involving motorized traffic.
