The Task Force on Automated Vehicle Regulation Screening held its 18th session on 2 October 2025. The agendas and reports of the 17th session were adopted. Regarding a proposal for a supplement to Regulation No. 64, the Task Force noted the need to harmonize wording for ignition on/initiation of the powertrain across regulations, discussed corrective action by the ADS, exceptions for vehicles of category X and Y, incorporation of “drive with caution” for vehicles with ADS, and fitting spare units. Regarding a proposal for a supplement to Regulation No. 142, the Task Force considered logical signal requirements and informing the ADS about tyre speed limits. The next meeting is scheduled for 29 November 2025. |
