The 03 series of amendments aim to improve protection of older vehicle occupants in the event of frontal collisions by limiting the chest deflection of the In parallel with the Hybrid III dummy to 42 mm (from the current 50 mm) in the offset deformable barrier test. This series of amendments complements the proposal for a new frontal impact regulation focus on the occupant restraint system based on a full width barrier test. |
