This proposal of the IGCMS-II amends the provisions on steering equipment according Regulation 79 to include vehicles equipped with devices for indirect vision such as camera-monitor devices. Various steering effort test provisions depend on the turning circle which currently excludes external mirrors. The text is amended to exclude as well external camera’s for camera-monitor devices. The proposal would replace the reference to rear-view mirrors with the term “devices for indirect vision” to encompass exterior CMS devices. |
