Text prepared by the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) to clarify the test procedure of the second load/speed performance test used for tires designed for speeds above 240 km/h for tires (as identified by the letter code “V” or “Z” in the size designation).
33. The expert from ETRTO presented ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRRF/2013/21, proposing a clarification of “the second load/speed performance” test. GRRF adopted this proposal and requested the secretariat to submit it to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration at their June 2014 sessions as draft Supplement 14 to UN Regulation No. 75.
No objections to the proposal which is passed for consideration to adopt during the AC.1 session.
