Document WP.29/2012/76 is a proposal for Supplement 14 to the 01 series of amendments to UN R53 to introduce bend lighting for motorcycles. IMMA proposes to keep the bank angle threshold for activation at five degrees rather than the proposed three degrees.

The European Commission did not received the informal document WP.29-158-10 in time to arrange for internal legal approvals and therefore does not have authorization to vote to adopt the proposed editorial corrections. The corrections will be adopted at the March WP.29 session.

WP.29/2012/76 unanimously adopted.

46. Under agenda item 4.7.15 (UN Regulation No. 53), WP.29 requested the secretariat to distribute WP.29-158-10 with an official symbol for detailed consideration (as a corrigendum) at its next session.
