7. The representative of the United States of America, Co‑Chair of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on Artificial Intelligence (AI), informed GRVA (GRVA-24-34) about the progress made by the group on terms and definitions and on the development of a repository of use cases. She mentioned that the group would review its terms of reference at its next session, to be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in February 2026. GRVA welcomed this voluntary report.

8. The representative of Canada expressed satisfaction with the work of the group. He encouraged experts to engage with industry and not to consider regulation mature enough. The representative of ITU and SAE International, Co‑Secretary of the IWG on AI, highlighted the strong engagement of the OICA delegation. GRVA noted that OICA had prepared five presentations for the session in Seoul.

9. GRVA agreed to retain agenda item 3 on the agenda for future sessions to allow for continued exchange.
