11. The expert from Japan presented proposal ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2024/23 to amend the newly created UN Regulation No. 173, in order to limit the slack of the buckle belt. The expert from OICA presented informal document GRSP-76-32, amending this proposal to include transitional provisions. Following a discussion of this informal document, the expert from OICA submitted a revised proposal (informal document GRSP-76-32-Rev.1). GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2024/23 as amended by informal document GRSP-76-32-Rev.1 (see annex IV, section A) and requested the secretariat to submit them as a proposal for a 01 Series of Amendments to UN Regulation No. 173 to the June 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.

13. The expert from OICA presented informal document GRSP-76-45 with a minor correction to UN Regulation No. 173. GRSP adopted the proposal (see annex IV to the session report, section B) and requested the secretariat to submit it as proposal of Supplement 1 to the Original Series of Amendments of UN Regulation No. 173 to the June 2025 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1. (Note: The same correction was also added to informal document GRSP-76-32-Rev.1, amending the 01 series of amendments (see paragraph 11 and annex IV, section A).)
